Losers Are Wealthy With Excuses!
Few people are attracted to whiners, complainers, excuse-makers or wimps!
Hanging out with a victim is not appealing to most reasonably sane people!
Who wants to be around or involved with an emotional cripple?
The person in the victim shirt tends to wear out his welcome early – as they should!
This thinking, these beliefs, and this behavior is even more repellant to success and making money than they are to other people!
Power is derived from taking responsibility, weakness from disavowing it!
I will add that wealth and success is achieved by taking responsibility, and repelled by disavowing it!
In the world of the entrepreneur, there is a clear correlation between taking on of responsibility and risk and the getting of opportunity and wealth.
If as the saying goes, you can’t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. But if you do, you ought not begrudge the goodies gobbled up by the big lads willing to stand in the fire!
As an entrepreneur, you are going to screw up!
And you are going to have bad things happen on your watch that you actually had no hand in or feel you couldn’t possibly prevent.
Thats a given!!
What’s important to understand is that the world watches and responds to the way you handle these situations.
If you blame others, blame circumstances, or offer up excuses, you show weakness!
if you step up, accept responsibility, offer no excuses, and roll up your sleeves and work, you show strength and command respect.
With excuse-making, you may obtain some sympathy and pity but at the price of respect.
And success is never transferred based on pity!
It is based on respect!
But…but…but…you don’t understand…I mean…it was not my fault…you should hear what happened…it is so terrible…once I tell you, you’ll understand.
There is much truth to your post today. Obviously there are black swans and injustices that occur that can take us out of the game but to quit or just whine about it serves nobody. I believe it is often good to vent, even complain a little but it must be let go of quicly so we can get on with the show.
