I always enjoy your posts and this one is no exception. It’s funny that the conventional wisdom is always that we need to solve problems on a global scale when the truth of the matter is that almost every problem is better handled on a local level by free markets and capitalism.
We have entered an age of decentralization but the vested interests of the current power structure tend towards centralization and control. Maybe that’s why there is such a disconnect between those in charge and the common folk of the world.
I know this is a deeper comment than you expected on the video you posted but the thought hit me while I was watching it.
